Jason Truck Caps
Jason truck caps are manufactured by Jason Industries of Elkhart, Indiana. Jason Industries has been in the truck cap and tonneau cover business since 1972 when they started making wooden covers in Goshen, Indiana.
The company product line consists of 10 different models of fiberglass pickup truck caps. The primary focus appears to be on the 7 recreational models which you can also use for light commercial purposes. Jason also manufactures 3 models of commercial fiberglass pickup truck caps and distributes 2 lines of commercial aluminum truck cap models, a line from Swiss Truck Caps and another line from Unicover Truck Caps . Both Swiss and Unicover make awesome recreational and commercial aluminum truck caps that you should check out.
TIP : Use universal absorbent mats to reduce the cleanup associated with liquid spills, mud and gunk attacks, mold growth and mildew spills. These mats also help keep your feet dry if you're using rubber or plastic mats as they suck up surface water and other liquids. They're really easy to clean also.
The list of standard and optional features and accessories is long and distinguished so I'll summarize some of the common features and options first and then get into some detail about each model. Let's start with the personal and recreational use toppers first.
Jason Fiberglass Truck Caps - Recreational
Jason Industries manufactures 7 different fiberglass truck caps for your personal and recreational use. They all include such amenities as DOT approved tinted safety glass, gas door struts for easy open/close, fiberglass base rails, rear door locks, and brake lights. High pressure water jets are used for most models to cut window and door holes in the fiberglass shell. Here's a bunch more features and some of the options common to all 7 models. Prelude 360 Model: This is a cab high model that appears to be a limited time offer for around $900 to $1000 from Jason Truck Caps. The deal lasts until April 30, 2011. So if you're reading this after that date and Jason is still selling this model, they must have sold enough of them to add it permanently to the product line. It's a base model at a great price (note the price only includes the cap, not any install or other costs). It doesn't look like you can add any options. Maybe Jason just had a lot of fiberglass laying around and got the hankering to build some toppers! Anyway this truck cap comes with:

Jason Truck Caps - Commercial Fiberglass
Jason Truck Caps (Jason Industries) manufactures 3 commercial truck cap models. They all come with no side windows, aluminum framed front windows, heavy duty sidewalls, BASF paint, lifetime warranties, tri cell fiberglass roofs, heavy duty base rails, aluminum framed Radius rear doors, 12 volt interior lights, LED brake lights and all kinds of other features you need in a commercial cap. Optionally you can specify; all kinds of different windows and doors, commercial roof racks, carpet headliners, ladder racks, black polyurethane interior coating, tool boxes, tool box lights, pull out bed trays, fancy interior lighting and lots more. Cab Hi Premium: A deluxe fiberglass work cap with exclusive features like; all glass slam latch rear door with twist and lock handle, trimless bottom edge and wrap over the rail design.
Hi Rise: The Hi Rise gives you about 4.5" more headroom and an oversized rear door. Plus most of the standard features and options you get with the other commercial models.
Cab Hi Basic: Just what it says, it's a basic, entry level fiberglass work top. You get the standard features of the Jason Industries commercial truck cap line with the option to specify upgrades to your hearts content.
