Lifetime Camper Shells

Lifetime Camper Shells Inc. was founded in 1980 and currently serves an 85+ dealer network. The company's stated mission is to provide their dealers with quality camper shells - both commercial and recreational.

No matter what type of truck cap you need; a truck shell, a work shell, a recreational shell, a canopy, a utility bed or a custom sized aluminum camper shell the people at Lifetime Camper Shells can make it for you.        

The company basically makes 3 models of aluminum truck caps; the WorkMate, the LifeTimes and the SuperSport.  They are primarily constructed from aluminum skins which are bent to fit the shape of the TIG welded aluminum frame and then pop riveted on the sides to affix the roof to the frame. An exception is the LifeTime which comes standard with a .010" gauge steel skin. Screw fasteners aren't used on the roof which helps to prevent leaking and all seams are sealed with foam tape to make these truck caps watertight. Pop rivets are used to fasten everything together as screws sometimes vibrate loose. Of course rear brake lights are there (options on some models - I think) to help the driver behind you stop promptly while admiring your new LifeTime truck cap! Here's some more info on each model.

LifeTime Camper Shells - Fiberglass & Steel

All Models

Use universal absorbent car truck mat protectors to reduce moisture, dirt, mud and odors in the truck bed. Remember your camper shell prevents rain and snow from getting in but it also slows the drying process when you have excess moisture (like coffee/soda spills, gas spills, etc) on your truck bed

LifeTimes Model

The LifeTimes Model is the economical yet still pretty aluminum truck cap from Lifetime Camper Shells Inc. It's made with a cedar embossed .010" gauge steel skin, a front picture window and a Creation Lift Back glass rear door all coming as standard features. You can add a bunch of optional features like:

- Solid aluminum front wall
- Various types of slider front windows
- Panel sides, Radius Sliders or Windoors
- Diamond plate toolboxes, Drop down trays
- Folding Stainless T handles, ladder racks
- Carpeted headliner, load shift panels
- All kinds of rear door options
- Dome lights, security screens on rear doors
- Increase height to 26", 30", 36" or custom
- Colors White, Black, Red, Silver
- Colors Beige, Blue, Gray, Charcoal

WorkMate Model
As the name indicates the WorkMate model is manufactured by Lifetime Camper Shells for commercial use. It comes with a heavy gauge aluminum roof which you can optionally increase to a .040" gauge. It comes with a solid aluminum front wall, a solid aluminum lift door and panel sides. So there aren't any windows or glass in the standard version of this model. You may however specify all kinds of options including, but not limited to;

- Glass slider front window
- Single cargo door with or without windows
- Double cargo doors with or without windows
- Hatchback Doors with or without windows
- Panel sides, Radius Sliders or Windoors
- Diamond plate toolboxes, Drop down trays
- Folding Stainless T handles, ladder racks
- Carpeted headliner, load shift panels
- All kinds of rear door options
- Dome lights, security screens on rear doors
- Increase height to 26", 30", 36" or custom
- Colors White, Black, Red, Silver

SuperSport Model
The SuperSport is what else but the "Sporty" model from Lifetime Camper Shells. It comes standard with a .030" gauge smooth aluminum skin, a carpeted interior, a rear brake light, tinted side windows, front glass windows, rear glass door with gas props and a cab high design that almost looks wedge shaped. Some of the options available for this model include;
